Welcome to Onwards 'N' Upwards Dog Training
 

I have been a huge dog lover since a very young age, and over the last 18 years have been lucky enough to own 3 gorgeous chocolate Labradors, all of whom have been involved in agility and had varying degrees of success in competition. I became interested in learning to instruct after training my first dog for 5 years, I shadowed a couple of other instructors to gain some experience and then completed an instructors course in 2009, gaining my qualification to teach agility. All my training is very much reward based, as I strongly believe dogs should learn through fun and positive reinforcement. It is important my handlers enjoy it too! I now have 10 years experience in instructing. There is no pressure to compete, but I train to a standard where you could enter competitions, should you decide you want to. As well as agility, I also offer Hoopers lessons on a one-to-one basis.  

Starting Onwards 'N' Upwards is a new solo venture for me (as of 2018), having co-run my previous club for the last 7 years, and I am very excited about it. I am grateful this opportunity has arisen (thanks to one of my handlers) and hope to have many more happy years here helping you train your dogs!
